Jewel of the South
IMC provided the MEP design for the renovation of a 2,200 square-foot creole cottage into a restaurant.
The building was provided with a new HVAC and plumbing system installed in phases. Mechanical and plumbing system penetrations were designed to maintain the existing historical architecture. The building was conditioned with a new series of D/X split systems totaling 15 tons with a small kitchen hood system. Two instantaneous heaters were installed to provide domestic hot water to the building and a 250-gallon hydro-mechanical grease trap for the kitchen and bar.
