Slidell Memorial Hospital Surgery Addition

IMC provided MEP design and CA services for the hospital's three-story, 56,000 square-foot addition and 18,000 square-foot renovation.  The project scope included Sterile Processing, ICU's, Operating Rooms, PACU, patient rooms and endoscopy suites.  All MEP design was performed using 3D BIM modeling (Revit). New HVAC systems consisted of a high-efficient chilled/hot water plant and variable volume systems designed per Facility Guidelines Institute requirements. High efficiency plumbing fixtures, medical air and vacuum source equipment, medical gas distribution, diesel fuel storage/distribution, and fire protection systems were provided. Electrical scope included an emergency generator, interior and exterior lighting, panelboards, fire alarm, paging, nurse call, CATV and all associated appurtenances including conduit and wiring, boxes, panelboards and safety switches.
